Clubul Ecologic Transilvania has a set of objectives which derive from its mission and which shape the road we have to follow towards accomplishing our declared organizational scope. CET’s major objectives include:

• elaboration and implementation of local and regional development plans according to the principles of sustainable development;
• support for viable development efforts of localities from Romania, especially of those located in the region of interest for our organization;
• creation of an efficient framework for dialog and cooperation between authorities and community members;
  promotion of public participation in decision-making processes;
• establishment of an ecologically sound conscience capable to change personal and collective approaches towards environmental factors that affect our lives;
• eco-civic education of population, especially of youth;
• expansion and management of protected natural areas;
• promotion of sustainable solutions to reduce the existing level of pollution and embracement of non-polluting technologies;
• support for locally based non-profits and development of forms of collaboration with these non-profits.
